STOP CHASING PEACE, MY FRIEND. LET PEACE FIND YOU

My friend,

Sit with me. I see you. You have been trying so hard to be peaceful. Meditating harder. Breathing harder. Telling yourself "I must be calm. I must not think. I must be peaceful now."

And the more you try, the more tired you become. The more you chase peace, the more peace feels far away, like a butterfly you run after.

My friend, can I tell you a secret that will soften everything today?

Peace was never something to chase. Peace is what remains when you stop chasing.

**1. THE MORE YOU FIGHT THE WAVES, MY FRIEND, THE MORE YOU DROWN**

Imagine you fall into a river, my friend. If you panic and fight the water, hit the water, shout at the water - what happens? You get tired. You sink.

But if you lie on your back, soft, open, and let the water hold you - the same water that scared you becomes the water that carries you.

Your mind is like that river, my friend.

When a restless thought comes, and you say "I must stop this thought to be peaceful," you just made a war inside. One part of you fighting another part of you. Of course you feel more restless. War was never peaceful.

Try this with me, very softly, right now. Don't try to be peaceful for 30 seconds. Just let whatever is here be here. If mind is noisy, let it be noisy. Don't push. Don't fix. Just watch it like you watch clouds from the ground - not flying with them, just watching them pass.

Notice, my friend. In that moment you stopped fighting clouds, what is here? A tiny, quiet space that was already here, under the noise. You didn't make it. You allowed it.

Peace is not made, my friend. Peace is allowed.

Your practice today: 3 times today, when you feel uneasy, don't say "I need to be peaceful now." Say, "I allow this moment to be as it is. I am big enough to hold this." And feel your feet on the ground. Feel your breath without changing it. That allowing - that is the door peace has been waiting for.

**2. YOU ARE NOT BECOMING PEACEFUL, MY FRIEND. YOU ARE REMEMBERING YOU ARE PEACE.**

My friend, you thought peace is at the end of a long journey. When you finally fix yourself, heal enough, become good enough, then peace will come.

But what if I tell you - you have it backwards?

You don't become peaceful. You remember you are the peace that was watching you try to become peaceful.

Think of the sky, my friend. The sky never tries to be clear. Clouds come, storms come, but sky never says "I must try to be sky." Sky simply is. It allows storms to pass through it without becoming the storm.

You are that sky, my friend.

That quiet awareness that sees your restless thoughts, that sees your trying, that sees your tiredness - that awareness itself was never restless. It was never not peaceful. It was the silent space that held all your trying.

For two minutes tonight, try this remembering:

Sit. Don't try to stop thoughts. Just ask, very gently, "What is here that is not trying?" Don't answer with mind. Feel. Is there a part of you that is simply here, not going anywhere, not trying to be anything? A simple being, breathing, alive?

Rest there, my friend. Not as someone trying to be peaceful. As peace itself, remembering itself. Like ocean remembering "Oh, I was never just a wave. I was always ocean."

You don't need to chase peace tomorrow, my friend. You need to rest as the peace you already are.

**3. WHEN YOU STOP HOLDING SO TIGHT, LIFE FINALLY HOLDS YOU**

My friend, why do you hold so tight? Because you think if you let go, you will fall. But what if letting go is how you finally feel held?

Look at my hands in this image. Open. Soft. Light is floating, not held. If I close my fists to grab the light, the light disappears.

Peace is like that light, my friend. You cannot grab it. You can only make space for it.

When you stop saying "I must be peaceful now or something bad will happen," something softens in your chest. Your shoulders drop. Your jaw unclenches. And in that softening, peace that was waiting at your door can finally enter.

Tonight before sleep, lie down. Let your body be heavy. Let the bed hold you. And whisper to yourself, not as affirmation, but as truth:

"I don't need to chase peace tonight. I let peace find me. I make space. I allow."

Let your hands be open on your heart like mine. Empty hands, my friend, can receive what tight hands never could.

My beloved friend,

You were never far from peace. You were just running so fast trying to find peace, you ran past the quiet place where peace was sitting, waiting for you, inside your own heart.

Stop, my friend. Just stop for one breath. Let that breath be as it is. And see - peace didn't come. Peace was revealed. It was here all along, under your trying.

You don't need to become peaceful, my friend. You need to stop abandoning the peace you already are.

Om Kriya Babaji Namah Aum.

If this soft truth made your shoulders drop today, my friend, comment "I STOP CHASING, I LET PEACE FIND ME" and let us sit together, not chasing, just allowing, as peace finds us both.
